SicK Skill Analysis: Icy Assassin’s High Burst Damage and One-Shot Potential

The Arrival of the Ice-Cold Killer! Complete Analysis of Shiscor’s Skills and Frostblade Ultimate Guide
Finally, we’ve waited long enough for Shiscor, the new character in Genshin Impact version 5.7! As an ice-element one-handed sword character, she perfectly combines ice and lethality! Today, let’s dive into the skills of this ice killer and see how she tears through enemy defenses with her icy sword!
First, let’s get to know this ice-elemental maiden who’s about to take the stage. Shiscor is a 5-star character who wields a one-handed sword with an elemental type of ice. Her base stat is a 38.4% increase in critical damage, which means she’s an explosive damage dealer, especially when paired with team synergy.
Shiscor’s exclusive weapon is called “Cangyao.” This sword has a base attack of 608 and a base critical rate of 33.1%. Its exclusive effect, “Blessings of Baisu,” is incredibly strong: after using an Elemental Skill, attack increases by 24% for 12 seconds. If Shiscor’s Elemental Energy is at 0, the attack increases by another 24%, and critical damage increases by 40%. This is an enticing bonus for a damage dealer.
Next, let’s break down Shiscor’s skills in detail.
Normal Attack: Gokuwaza – Dan
Shiscor’s normal attack consists of up to five consecutive strikes. However, the focus isn’t just on the normal attacks themselves, but also on her powerful charged and plunging attacks. Charged attacks consume stamina to throw rotating ice spears at enemies in front of her, dealing damage. Plunging attacks are even more devastating. Shiscor descends from the air, dealing damage to enemies in her path and upon impact, causing AoE damage. This plunging attack is like an icy thunderbolt on the ground, leaving enemies with no room to escape.
Elemental Skill: Gokuwaza – Sen
This is a particularly interesting skill. When tapped, Shiscor gains 45 points of “Snake’s Cunning” and switches to the “Seven Strikes Flash” mode. When held, Shiscor also gains 45 points of “Snake’s Cunning” but enters a state of continuous rapid movement. During this time, her resistance to interruption is significantly increased, she can control her movement direction, and she can end the rapid movement early by recasting the skill. This skill is a perfect blend of practicality and fun.
Elemental Burst: Gokuwaza – Metsu
This is Shiscor’s signature move. Her Elemental Burst doesn’t rely on Elemental Energy but on “Snake’s Cunning.” When “Snake’s Cunning” reaches 50 points, she can unleash her Elemental Burst, tearing through the space in front of her with rapid slashes, dealing AoE ice damage. Moreover, any “Snake’s Cunning” points beyond 50 further increase damage, up to an additional 12%. This means the more “Snake’s Cunning” stored, the higher the damage of the Elemental Burst.
If Shiscor is in “Seven Strikes Flash” mode, her Elemental Burst is replaced by “Gokuwaza – Jin.” This special Elemental Burst doesn’t consume “Snake’s Cunning” and grants Shiscor the “Choujin” effect upon activation. This effect lasts until “Seven Strikes Flash” mode ends, continuously enhancing normal attack damage. Additionally, the damage increases further based on the number of “Virtual Fissures” absorbed, with the effect triggering up to 10 times before it ends.
Fixed Skill: Ri no Ri
This skill can be seen as the core of Shiscor’s team play. When any character in the party triggers a Freeze, Superconduct, ice elemental spread, or ice elemental crystallization reaction, a “Virtual Fissure” is created near the enemy.
