Title: The Journey to Noerdakale Post-5.7 Version: Uncertain Prospects
As a swift reminder, it has now reached the 5.7 version of “Genshin Impact,” followed by the update to 5.8, where travelers’ next destination is not Atsume but a place called Noerdakale. The official team has been steadily building up information about Noerdakale and has been heavily promoting it. Many players have already shown their eagerness to face this new challenge. However, if I say there is a high probability that Noerdakale will fail, would you believe it?
Firstly, the current environment of “Genshin Impact” is not as good as before. Since the Na’Taka version, the experience has noticeably declined. Why? It’s simple; the environment has changed, not like it used to be. Behind the frequent events and high-quality stories, the content has significantly缩水, leaving players unable to experience the high-quality stories that were available in the Flandre version.
Secondly, the current players of “Genshin Impact” can no longer withstand such high demands. In the past, players could accept the demands of the game, but now, players have less energy. This is not a problem of “Genshin Impact” players, but rather due to some clever tactics employed by the planners. Initially, “Genshin Impact” players were indeed very hardworking, but the planners have continuously reduced the demands on players, leading to players becoming overly reliant on the game.
Moreover, the positioning of Noerdakale is too awkward. It is an entirely separate region from the core elements of “Genshin Impact.” From the perspective of the world, it is an independent region, which makes players who are accustomed to the seven elements of “Genshin Impact” curious about what Noerdakale is supposed to be. Players who were looking forward to Atsume are now disappointed, as Atsume still needs a year, and Noerdakale not collapsing would be miraculous.
So, why did the planners force Noerdakale onto the game? Actually, I don’t believe they intended to do so for the sake of enriching the game’s world. In reality, I think this is merely to extend the lifespan of “Genshin Impact.” Initially, the planners wrote the world and script too rigidly, setting the seven elements and seven countries, which later proved to be a hindrance when “Genshin Impact” became so popular. As a result, they had to extend the game’s lifespan through patches.
Thus, we see the emergence of Noerdakale. However, why do I say it has a high probability of failing? It’s simple; the planners have also grown tired. After traversing five major versions, it is evident that the high quality of “Genshin Impact” is showing signs of fatigue. “Genshin Impact” has been maintaining high standards in terms of plot, art, and music for a long time, but due to insufficient production capacity, content has become repetitive or superficial. These can be seen clearly in the activities of these versions.
